Applications

Useful life: Syntholube SL 32 is useful under normal operating conditions for 8000 hours in rotary screw units. Energy reduction: These oils have extensive data showing energy reductions on compressor drive units averaging 6.7% on reciprocating and 8.3% on rotary screws. Software compatibility: The diester oils are compatible with most currently used compressor components including seals, paints and plastics. However, some materials are not recommended for use with diester oils. Please contact manufacturers for further information.

Characteristics

Syntholube SL 32 has also been proven as an effective chain lubricant for textile tenter frames where a light penetrating oil film resistant to high temperature is desired.

The diester-based fluids are full synthetic compressor lubricants specially formulated with premium synthetic ester base stocks for use in wide variety of air compressors. They are designed from diester base oils for rotary screw compressors and will offer a typical service life of 8,000 hours under good operating conditions. They are designed from diester base oils for reciprocating compressors and are recommended for high pressure air compressors.
