Applications

Useful life: Hydrovane 2000 is useful under normal operating conditions for 8000 hours in rotary screw units and 4000 hours in rotary vanes. Please contact manufacturer for scheduled change intervals on high pressure units. Energy reduction: These oils have extensive data showing energy reductions on compressor drive units averaging 6.7% on recips and 8.3% on rotary screws. Software compatibility: The diester oils are compatible with most currently used compressor components including seals, paints and plastics. However, some materials are not recommended for use with diester oils.

The diester-based fluids are full synthetic compressor lubricants specially formulated with premium synthetic ester base stocks for use in wide variety of air compressors. They are designed from diester base oils for rotary screw compressors and will offer a typical service life of 8,000 hours under good operating conditions. They are designed from fiester base oils for reciprocating compressors and are recommended for high pressure air compressors.
