The PURO-CT range of oil/waterseparators separates oil from condensate, generated by compressedair systems. The PURO-CT achieves efficient separation of oil fromcondensate by means of directing the condensate through variousseparation stages. Using a specially treated, adsorbent,polypropylene media and an activated carbon polishing element, theJORC PURO-CT Condensate Separators efficiently and effectivelyseparate all compressor lubricants without the need for condensatestorage tanks, settling chambers, or costly disposal. As condensate flows in to thePURO-CT, the oil is filtered out through variousfiltration elements. The first oil adsorbing element hasa clever saturation indicating feature, offering youa visual operating status of the separator at a distance.The life of the PURO-CT first stage filtration element isdetermined by the amount of oil removed, not by the amount ofcondensate treated.
