Sensor-controlled or electronically operated automatic drain
valves are designed to help eliminate the possiblility of fowling
that sometimes occurs with a float controlled automatic drain
valve. Sensors when triggered send information to the electronic
control to release the condenstate. These operations are automatic
and there is zero air loss during the condensate discharge cycle.
Electronic drain valves are typically less likely to foul since the
condensate doesn\'t come in contact with the sensor.
