Our 60864 Float OperatedSemi-Automatic Drain Valve is a universal replacement for most Manufacturer's Filter Housings float type drain. ThisNormally Open drain operates when the air-line is depressurized, for example at the end of ashift. When the system is pressurized it will remain closed, butmay be operated manually by pushing upwards on the outlet that protrudes from the bowl. Automatic Drains should be used where the filter location maymake servicing difficult, where filters may be hidden from view andconsequently overlooked, or where equipment is in continual use.Areas where large quantities of liquid may accumulate over a shortperiod of time should be equipped with an auto-drain. Normally Open drains are ideal where machines are shut down fora extensive period of time, that can cause slugs of water duringstart up to overload a filter/separator unless drained immediately.During periods when the air-line pressure is off, this drain willopen allowing liquids to drain rather than flood the air-linepiping system.   Specifications Height: 3.00" Width: 1.55" 1/4" NPT Outlet Nitrile Seal
